Just seen there's a new TX series (see here), but wanted to find out if anyone's bought & using the new VX ones? Interested in the 550W version which seems to get good reviews & price is fair. Also, will OcUK stock them (including TX)?

If you want less clutter in the pc, then the HX520 is very good as it's modular cables. It costs slightly more however than the VX.

I second what Scougar says. I just got a HX520 for my PC and its brilliant. Its my first PSU that claims to be modular and actually is! My Hiper 580W claimed to be modular but I needed every connection.

The VX range got VERY good reviews from jonny guru's guys, but like most PC using I just don't use all the cables. I might have got the VX if it had been out at the time, as I was on a tight budget. In hindsight I am glad I went for the HX series though :)

after reading the jonnyguru and hardocp reviews of the new psu, im gonna stick with my hx620, looks like corsair cheaped out on the newer ones.

yea i think the hx line were made by seasonic but their newer models are made by CWT. the fishy part i found was that the hiper 580w i took apart and put pics up on here recently seemed to had similar components that the new corsairs have. well capacitor wise...
