I have just got Corsair CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9 Vengeance 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz C9 RAM and I have the Asus rampage extreme iv board. My issue is that this ram when set to the XMP and 1600mhz the comp will not post. Any suggestions I could try or ideas. My CPU is the i7 3930k. I have reset cmos set ram to run at 1600 loaded the XMP but it just won't post. Now when I leave it on auto and don't set the frequency it posts but only at 1333 any ideas guys

Try setting the timings manually and very slightly increasing the DDR voltage. It's also possible the memory controller on the CPU may need a bump, but unlikely given that quad channel 1600MHz is supported.

Are those specific sticks on the Asus approved list? Asus seem to be getting fussy with compatibility recently. Does that board have the MemOK switch?
