New Coupe for under £50,000

My mate's dad is looking for a new car. He was interest in a Cayman but found it too cramped inside. Now he's considering a BMW 6 Series, but as me and my mate hate them we're thinking up alternatives.

I was thinking TVR Sagaris, but apparantly that's a bit impractical.

So new coupes for under £50k. thoughts?

Not sure he's after an outright performance machine like the M3.

I'd thought about the XK, i imagine the waiting list is pretty extensive though. worth a look though

Maserati is a bit silly in the running costs department, and the reliability isn't all that from what i've heard.

Not sure he's after american muscle, but he does drive a Jeep thing now.

Echo'd lol. yes they are fast in a straight line but shoddy in all other areas.
