Hi there,

Will be ordering a new case today, so thought I'd get a new CPU cooler to go along with it.

At the moment I've got an AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego with the stock cooler. Looking into buying the Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro cooler for it :)

Just a quick few questions if someone doesn't mind:

  • Will I have any problems getting this beast of a cooler onto my ASUS A8N-E motherboard?
  • Will I have any problems getting this to run/install in my new Lian-Li PC-7 PLUS case?
  • How loud is this thing? Will it be advantageous over my stock cooler (in terms of temp, stock cooler idles at around 34ºC and load around 40-45ºC)?
  • Should I scrub off the paste that comes with it, and put on some AS5?
Cheers!

I cant comment on if it will fit your board.
They arent really that big so your case shouldnt have any problems
Mine isnt too loud I dont think, it will deffo be better than stock cooling.
The paste that comes with it is fine.
