New cpu for S939 motherboard?

What's the best processor I can put in this board & will I see much of a performance jump over a 3700+ San Diego. It will be used solely for gaming & the other specs are Gainward Bliss 7900gt 512mb & 2gb Corsair XMS3500 stuff.
Can't be doing with a complete upgrade for a couple of months.

From a gaming standpoint there is very little you could put in there that you'd really notice.

A 2.6 Ghz Dual core (FX-60 or Opteron 185) is the "best" but it'd be a lot of money for a few frames.

I'd say if you really wanna do something then it'd be to overclock the 3700+ some, you should get 2.4 pretty easily even on stock cooling, 2.6 (FX-55), 2.8 (FX-57) wouldn't be too hard either with a decent board and chip.
 
It's already clocked up near 2.7:)
I wasn't sure if the dual cores would make a worthwhile gaming improvement, if not I'll just upgrade in a few months.
