New CPU Help!

Hi,

I need a quick CPU/Mobo for gaming but it needs to be the following:-

Must have AGP slot

I am running a Athlon 64 3000+ plus at minute with GForce 6600gt and have around £125 to spend on board and chip.

Any help would be great as need to order Tonight!

Was thinking maybe AMD Athlon 64 4000+ San Diego ??

Then it has to be the DFI RDX200 with either 3700+ or 4000+ sandy.

Can't stretch extra 30 for a X2 3800+??

thanks for reply i can push limit out to around £170 now but still limited to agp slot

Do i have to use ddr2 with core 2 duo?

Ideally I would love core 2 duo 6300 with a mobo that takes agp slot and normal ddr memory not ddr2 is this available?

There is the Asrock 775dual-VSTA board that has both an AGP/PCI-e slots and both DDR1/DDR2 slots.

If that's the case you can go for the asrock dual vsta mobo as suggested couple with an E6300.

The mobo isn't available here so you will have to look elsewhere.
