Expect 3GHz easy overclock with that CPU and 1000MHz easy overclock with that RAM. The motherboard is a beast :)

The above 2 specs are very nice aswell, expect better clocks with this one though.

Ooohh errr, thread jack and double post

Well that looks quite good, but if you can wait till the 22nd of July you'll get a Q6600 (quad core) for £150ish which is better suited to your tasks I would have thought. Think about getting an after market cooler too.

With regards to the OP ;) , I would ditto what Jaffa_Cake has said :D

Thanks for that now i got the above. seems ok right?

Looks good. Your choice of CPU but as you're clocking it feel free to pick a e2160, or an e4400, and as long as you get the clock speed to 3GHz the gaming experience won't differ greatly.

Well i wont be playing any games like BF,CS etc more downloading and some video editing/converting etc~ nothing major tho just aiming for a CPU at 3ghz.

If you can suggest the best CPU feel free.

In which case it looks spot on, and that is the best motherboard and RAM to go with it.

I'm going to do a build for my brother in a month or two, I'd be interested in what OC results you get as that is the Mobo/RAM combo I was going to go for. Don't forget to post your OC results :)
