My Z97 board has packed up so I need to replace it.

As you can't buy Socket 1150 boards any more I am pretty much forced to replace the board, CPU, and RAM.

I was running an Intel 4690K with 16 GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM and a 1080Ti GPU

I want to replace those three for as little as possible but with equal performance.

Over to you guys!

You need the X version to beat the 4690K gaming performance.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £385.43 (includes shipping: £10.50)

If you need WiFi:

Both those boards are out of stock.
Assumed you would shop around - list is always an indicator/guideline not a guarantee of price (unless specifically buying from OcUK).

Also, why wouldn't I order this?

I could sell the SSD and buy some RAM.
You can - but was more than your original brief ("as little as possible but with equal performance") when adding cost of memory - even when selling cheap SSD ~£20 second hand.

EDIT: *not so rushed:

For example it's possible to get the B450 Carbon Pro + 2700X with 2 games (will sell for £50 total) and 16Gb of memory for under £400 (once games sold) if you're savvy (as much as i can say within forum rules.).

But, OcUK are great to deal with if you have a problem with initial purchase - so swings and round-abouts...
