Just a quick question.
I don't know which option will give me the most performance increase from my current set up.

E2200 oc'd to 3.2
Sapphire 4850 512mb
28" Hanns G

Should I get another 4850 or a E8500, bearing in mind all I really do is gaming?

Cheers.

Yeah, that's what I was really thinking tbh, plus it's and easier upgrade to carry out.
Another question.
Would a PowerColor HD 4850 1gb be ok with my current 4850 which is 512mb?

Cheers.

Don't see there being an issue with that but honestly don't know 100%. Sure someone else will be able to confirm that for you :)

A very good upgrade for you would be a better cpu cooler (possibly water and some AS5) so you could overclock a little more and a 4870x2 and youd be as happy as a pig in muck :D
But for your other question yes the 1gig version would be fine, xfire is pretty much sli with a different name so the 1gig version would match the lower clocked/speced version.

Bad idea IMO
1. He probably won't get much more out of his E2200
2. A 4870x2 is not cheap......................

Options:

=Change monitor to something nicer, I'm not really a fan of Hanns-G screens

=Forget another 4850 just sell your current 4850 and upgrade to a 4870X2 :D

=Wait around for the 4850x2

At the speed of your CPU you won't really see a huge difference, especially when gaming if you upgrade it :)
