Hello Guy's
Just recently made a small upgrade to my system. Bought a new Ryzen 5 4500. I installed CPU and got this message:
press Y to reset FTPM, if you have bitlocker or encryption enabled the system will not boot without recovery key”.
Or
“press N to keep previous FTPM record and continue system boot ,FTPM will not enable in new CPU, you can swap back to old CPU to recover TPM related data and key.”
I don't have bitlocker installed so entered 'Y'
It will boot to BIOS ,then I get the windows 10 swirly logo, then no monitor signal. System is still running ,but nothing on screen. Plus I noticed the rear case fan doesn't start.( it does with old CPU).
Motherboard bios is up to date and it says' it's compatible with this CPU. I've tried resetting the BIOS ,but no difference.
I reinstalled the old CPU ( R5 1600),and everything works as it should.
Anyone come across this before or something similar? Any Ideas?
Thanks
System:
AB 350 Gaming rev1 Bios version F51i
GPU GTX 970
16 G Ram
Win 10
