New CPU = Reinstall OS?

Hi i currently have an
AMD 6000 X2 dual core CPU.

When Deneb comes out i plan to switch over to that Quad-Core. When installing the CPU will i have to reinstall windows?

If you're just slotting it into your current motherboard, no. If installing a new motherboard as well, then yes.

If you are swtiching just the cpu then there`s no need to re-install. But if you are changing the motherboard too then its a good idea to.
