New CPU - Windows 10

Hi,

I currently have an i5 6600k & may consider upgrading to the latest Kabylake I7 later in the year.

Is it still the case that you need to reformat your PC when you change your CPU? Or does Windows 10 negate the need for that?

To be honest - not sure if it's even worth it.

May just upgrade my 1060 to next years equivalent 1070 Nvidia card.
