New CPU...worth it?

I am looking to upgrade my cpu to last for about a year until I spend again. Thinking of going from Athlon 64 3500+ to the x2 4600+ which is now a good price. Would it be worth my while to do this?

Until more games are capable of utilising both cores then no its not worth it.

Depends whether or not you would be happy o/clocking as well 3800x2's are cheap as chips atm.
