Hi guys,

Since the massive price drop for AMD 939 dual cores, is it worth while upgrading from my AMD64 3700?

If your happy with the performance in games now then I wouldn't bother, the 3700+ is sufficient to keep up with your graphics card.
 
I suggest you upgrade to dual core now while:

a, they are cheap
b, you can still get them on s939.

Once they become hard to source they will command a premium.

So strike while the irons hot and get yourself a x2 3800 for 108 quid!
 
Yeah that's what I was looking at... For that kind of money it's got to be done really! ;)
