Unfortunately the company I bought my rampage formula motherboard managed to fix the fault I had, meaning the issues have got to be with the E8500.
It's a 775 socket and I now need a replacement. In the meantime I got a few new components and started running an amd 3.2ghz system which I think has more potential than this intel series for gaming (if anyone thinks different, please correct me).
so I don't know what to do now.
my current system has a fabulous temperature, the rampage board looked impressive but I don't know if there's much I can do with it.
Any ideas?
p.s. anyone think it's worth sending my old cpu for rma?
