Hello there,

I have a question for you guys.I am thinking about changing my cpu to the new sandybridge 2600k.My question is ,am i going to see noticable difference between my i 870 oc to 4Ghz and 2600k oc to 4.0Ghz?
Is is worth to make change now or wait until Intel will launch the 2011 socket?

I'd say there would be a noticable improvement, but wouldn't be worth upgrading. Wait until Ivy bridge 2011 imo.

A noticable improvement from a 4.0Ghz 870? I can't think of too much where you'd notice a difference.

Anyway as you said not worth the upgrade even if there was some sort of performance improvement.

I'd quite happily stick that 4.0Ghz 870 in my system and be happy for a long while yet :)
