Hi all.
I managed to pull a deal on a 990X. It’s an amazing piece of kit.

Thoughts on the overclock please?

1.3v in bios.

Can't believe the temps!

You sure its 1.3 in the bios? Judging by CPUz it shows 1.336v which would be more towards 1.4v less vdroop... :confused:

LLC on the REIII increases the Vcore.

thats normal on the gulftown chips

i would have the multi higher...on my 980x i had it at 29 and worked up the bclk.....
sure my chip would do 4.3ghz on 1.28v.....dont go above 1.4v for everyday use
