Hey, for my crosshair iv formula I have to install a bios in order for my new CPU to work. Will I be able to do this with the
New CPU as I don't have an old ones in order to boot with.

I've heard that Piledriver CPUs WILL work on that board with the beta bios (which supports the earlier Bulldozer CPUs). 4130 is Bulldozer, but appeared later than the others, I believe, so missed the official Beta support.

You will need the Beta Bios to use the CPU. Some Asus boards allow Bios updates without CPU, I believe, but I'm not sure if this one does.

You could buy a cheap AM3 CPU to flash Bios with - Sempron 145 is only £28 or so, and can be sold on for close to that.

EDIT:
you beat me to the Sempron 145 idea :)

I was reading that these CPUs seem to overlock really well, but I'm unable to see safe voltages info or anything around for it.

That motherboard even with the latest beta BIOS it will not get more than 3.8Ghz if you get an FX8350 or better. :(

It only supports the early Piledrives.
