New Crackdown Achievements / Update

Hi,

I'm reading isolated stories that aftwer updating this game, your stats are wiped out. Can anyone elaborate, as there is no way on each i'm maxing everything out again

Do you have links to these reports? Sounds like scaremongering to me. I've downloaded both DLC packs, played the game and nothing has been reset for me. As stated above, Keys To The City resets everything but it isn't permanent - your save file is left alone.

There are reports, on the xbox forums, of a possible bug - maybe something to do with using Co-op mode.

EDIT: There's a temporary workaround for this problem. If you do the following:

1. Sign-in to Xbox Live
2. Start Crackdown and receive new Title Update (if you haven't already)
3. Begin a Single Player Campaign game
4. Once loaded, press Start and choose "Quit"
5. Reboot Crackdown (soft reboot or hard reboot of console)

You should be OK.

Yeah, I'm avoiding Co-op mode for the time-being (not that I use it much anyway!). Just enjoying the new features in solo mode

Eh, Just downloaded the Crackdown Free-For-All addon but when I boot up the game it says "Cannot play game with current content, it is either currupt or not compatible with your version of the game. Use old content?" have only the option to click OK or Cancel (basically back to Dashboard). Its becuase I dont have the patch. Ive had this problem for ages now, not being able to download the update using the auto patch thing when booting up Crackdown. Just disconnects me from the game and kicks me back to Dashboard.

My settings are all Connected, Confirmed and Open. Is there no manual update I can download, stick on a CD and install to my 360?

Please Help

Do you sign into crackdown on your xbox live account so you can recieve the auto-update? If not, do so.

What do you mean? If you mean do I lauch Crackdown with my Xbox Live account signed in, then yes I do.

Becuase it always kicks me off when booting up the game, im always offline, so when inside the game, Ive tired pressing the Xbox button on my controller and signing in Via that method, but it just says "Cannot connect to Xbox Live, test connection, if problem persists contact xbox support etc etc" Either, Retry, Test Connection (when done everything is fine) or Cancel (Back to Dashboard).

I wish I could reset all my stats, I fancy starting again as it's been that long since I played.
I guess I could always delete my data and start again, but I'd lose my co-op rings I did with McDaniel!

I went and purchased the premium content yesterday, got my nephew onto Live to have a quick go on CO-OP; he only had the free pack. We played for a while and afterwards he went into his SP to find the whole of his game reset. He never went into SP first and saved it, just the Keys To The City mode before joining my SP game in CO-OP and that seemed to kill it.

Do you think reformating the HDD would make a differance? Also is there a way of backing up the saved games on it?

They have said there is no way to get the save game back. I guess you can back them up if you have a memory card which I do but haven't tried; think I will though before I play it again...

Do you mean kicks you off xbox live?
If it gives you the option to auto update download the update
