New Crysis Trailer..

Looks like they done it again who would have ever thought the chaps that showed a fancy looking Dinosaur running off a Geforce4, then released Farcry which imo is still the best looking engine to date ;) and now Crysis.

Looks awesome..... so awesome I doubt ever it will come out in March.

oh rele? thought it was longer than that, and aye, you got a point there, they have plenty of time to make it run smoother.

also, in one of the interveiws the guy said that it will be playable on a mid spec engine with dx9 (obviously not at those settings) and still get the core story line and play the game. which is brilliant if you ask me.

p.s. i have BFG watercooled 8800GTX's in sli with a quad core proc, so im not fussed :P

Where did u hear this? I dont expect a game that looks and runs gameplay wise like that IGN movie to appear March like previous reports suggested......

Feel this is gonna be another 2008 title just like Quake Wars is.

I dont think any good games are gonna appear this year lol that includes Stalker ;)

last i heard, stalker had a official release date for this year.

and sure, crysis wont be released this year, and if it is, ill be amazed peronally.

imo, lots of devolpers are most likely waiting unitl vista and nvidia to sort there **** out, once they have done that, they have a clean slate to work on without tons of grits and bits all over the place.

oh no you dont, like i said before, vista brought high hopes, until i heard they didnt have any sli drivers for the g80 cards :mad:

and maybe i shouls keep shtumpt about the rest of my rig :p

ahhh missed that thread, was gonna say thx for the link but thats utterly horribly news ;)

Absoloutly no reason to purchase Vista or a DX10 card now, in fact bugger all reason to upgrade to a new pc either cos only games arriving soon is Supreme Commander in Late Feb, and i think thats perhaps the only game that will actually appear, March is Stalker id say yeah thats gonna arrive this time! and CnC3 proberly get delayed why not.

Ditto no reason to upgrade my X850/X2-4400 ;)
 
I just need to get some new hardware, got Vista already (thanks to my university) and cant wait for this to come out, it looks stunning and i cant wait to see what the gameplay is like.
 
Theres an interview with Crysis team on IGN just 2 days ago saying this

I mean this can mean but 2 things, its either coming March/April or its delayed ?

But didnt they announce its gonna be delayed anyhow last month...... or why announce it again?
 
like i said in previous posts, they are probably going nuts at nvidia for not releasing vista drivers in time, so it would mean, most high end users on sli setup and on vista would suffer and not be able to play the game.

its what i would do if i could, i would never release a game if the customers werent able to play it at its full potential.

BUT, im no expert, just a opinion from my big mouth :)

The lead developer for Crysis said at CES to Gamespot that it's still scheduled for a Q2 07 release, so for it to slip to 2008 would be very very surprising to me, CES was early January btw, so a few weeks ago now :)
