i doubt you will need that, the engine will be very well optimized :cool:

i really doubt its south london. not with them pine trees growing there.

the reference pics seem to be renderings too, they don't seem to be real either.

EDIT: just got word, those reference screenshots are from DX10, and the others are dx 9. there does seem to be a difference in gfx.

either way this should show the real power of the pc compared to consoles just like the first cryengine did over 2 years ago.

They can never get shadows right in this game, they are too dark. Other then that, it is impressive , *looks back at G80 specs and alleged price*

yea shadows require proper soft shadow effects and transparency. not easy to do without a severe hit in performance.

LMAO, that's exactly what I was thinking, till I looked abit closer and I realised that the reference pics were photos and real time was the game

. Shows how close to photorealistic graphics we are now.
