New D50

Well its been a long time since i had an SLR, and decided to get another. So after reading the forum, and various reviews i had narrowed it down to.... The Canon 350D and Nikon D50.
After reading the reviews i think i had made my mind up but just wanted to be sure, so off i went down to the local retailer and had a play with the two cameras. I found that the build quality and over all feel of the Nikon was a lot better - so thats was the one i ended up with !!!

I have uploaded my first few pics - pics are not really serious by just trying to remember things and get used to new camera...

Love the D50, feels really nice to handle and not like plastic.
I got the 18-55ml lens kit as they were out of stock of the twin lense kit, but i will be getting another lense this weekend hopefully.
I know the composition is not good at all, but it was just a quick few shots ( had to take some pics, it was killin me..lol) got to try and remember everything again

So i'll have to keep an eye on the forum and get out abit more..

Just remembered that my laptop (which i havent used in ages has an SD card reader built in).... another plus !!!!

Im lovin my D50 also... my dog thinks its a new toy though ...lol.
Going to practice this weekend....do you think you made the right choice? and what do you find that you like about it (no offense meant, im same as you, had mine for only a few days). But there are a few posts asking about the D50 !!!
All i can say is that i think we both made the right choice.... im cuffed anyways
