Has anyone tried the new dangerden maze 5 gpu block yet. Apparently cools far better than the maze 4 which is saying something seeing my maze 4 keeps a 4 degree diff between idle and load on my 7900gt extreme.

Main thing though is no mention of restriction - is it a flow killer?

two in my loop (not a parallel loop or anything, two in series) doesn't seem to harm flow as much as any other block, plus they cool fantastically :)

Yet to have any evidence that it does. It looks more high flow restriction than anything. Was a big topic over at XS about it

The thread over at XS has no results to back up all the bad press though. I'd like to see some conclusive results before jumping to conclusions tbh.

There was more than just the one topic and somoen did wack up some info.

Off topic, you had ya Phase done yet?

I did a search, but couldn't find anything. Got a link by any chance? I should hopefully have my phase unit by the end of this week. :)

Doesn't she look preeety. ;)

Wow taken time eh....! I got mine back but is missing lots and lots of parts and he no logner answers PM's. think i might send him a letter asking now! Grr.

I got a newer unit off LD in less than week built and delivered

From the photos I've seen it does have a much bigger cooling area compared to the old Maze 4 design, so it should in theory be better on larger sized GPUs such as we're getting these days. Doesn't seem to be a restrictive design either, but would be interesting to see a direct head to head.
