Certainly seems like a fantastic design, the only question mark for me is the chosen graphics chip, seems a little weak?

Because with the 27" you dont have to go with Apple RAM.

They should have got rid of that lip at the bottom of the screen and built a 30" with 2560x1600.

You will love the new i7 Raymond it is a beast of a machine. Get the top of the range CPU/GPU with 16Gb and you will be set.

Was just wondering has anyone got an iMac with the fusion drive yet and if so, does the fusion drive consume much system resources?

My dad just ordered a 27" iMac with 3.4GHz i7, 1Tb Fusion, 680MX 2Gb and 8Gb.

He is coming from a cobbled together PC with Q6600, 4Gb and 4870 512Mb. He has never had a mac before but he loves Xplane and doing logo designs etc.

Raymond: Which brand of 32Gb did you go for? Have you had any issues?

Nice, top spec is a Core i7 3.5Ghz Haswell and GTX780M 4Gb GDDR5!
