I have been kicked out of my playroom by the dragon as we have a little monster on the way due in june :)

So ive had to carve out a corner of the dining room to make somewhere for my new pc from overclockers to live!

That looks very, very nice. I can't help but think the monitor should have been placed in the corner though? That can't be very ergonomic for your neck/body.

luckily I'm a joiner so that helps :), Vector, yes i did mate, 2 plug size ones just at the rear of the case hidden by the curtains and a small one under the monitor, i have also made small trays just underneath the back to lay all the cables in so they don't spill down the wall.

I've spent so much time on these forums over the last months reading all your questions and answers while i decided what i wanted, i thought i'd show you all what you helped me buy :)
 
Looks smart. Bet it cost a lot less than if you bought a crappy chipboard desk as well.

What sort of paint did you use? looks like you got a good finish with it.
 
I used a good primer and then give it 3 coats of Ronseal diamond hard satin (sanding in between coats). It's tough stuff.

If it gets grubby, i can sugar soap then whack another coat on.
