NEW DESK NEEDED

At the moment am using the old dinning table which has been cuyt up and bits added to it to make it longer. but looks cruddy now. So am after a desk/table needs to be min 4.5-5 feet/2feet. would be greatful for any links or suggestions.
 
Ikea do a mix and match sort of thing, have a look on their site and search "alex desk" to get an idea.
You choose the table top and the what you want to support it

I opted for the drawer unit on one side and two legs the other as could only fit 120cm size in my room, but you can probably get bigger

Depends what you need, personally I found their standing desk series Skarsta superb. It has many benefits and no drawbacks , except if you plan to load the desktop with more than 50kg.
First you can adjust the height all the time. Second, you can stand up while gaming or doing what ever you want to do on your PC.

Personally I find very comfortable standing up for hours hence I have two. One for my computer, the other for painting or miniature/model assembling. Very rarely sitting down while at home, and I am not what someone could call "fit". But at least I am not forced to sit down while at home.

Just a thought.
