New Desk top Suggestions

So my desk has fell apart (ikea) the desk top has spilt all around the edges due to having arm rests attached, i could reglue the edge back on, but im sure it will fall back off

tempted to just buy a new desk top around 2M by 60cm

any good suggestions for places to look at?

Looking for somthing solid, happily go full wood if needed

not bad shout, done that before, but i have 6 legs so really only need a top

my ikea corner desk edge trim was coming off at the corner, it's been moved from location to location too many times and I kept catching it. That's the side I hang my head phones from and swing my chair towards when getting out.

I just used some gorilla wood glue for £7 pounds and taped it down for a day just to hold it while the glue takes... it's good as new.

was thinking this but i got bunch of dents in the desk thats gone through the top too where i dropped a monitor

ive ordered 1 from worktop express coming wednesday, there delivery service makes little sense though. 2 person delivery but wont go up stairs... really whats the point of 2 people

you'll see when it arrives, they're bloody heavy

i done in once in the old house, however the worktop was so big we couldnt get it out the house last time we carried it through the 2nd floor window it was 3M by 800
ill try bung them some cash for taking it up 1 flight
