New digi camera?

My parents want to get a digital camera and have asked me to give them some advice. Thing is I have no idea on what models are good or what to look for in the specs.

Could someone offer some advice on this. Say a budget of ~£100. I have no ide on what they want to spend - neither do they really so its flexible

I would look at the Canon A430, best value at the £100 mark.

Fuji F11 at about £135-£140 is a great indoors, ok outdoors.

Canon A620 at about £160 is bigger and not as good indoors, but in my opinion, a lot better outdoors.

Depends on what your parents will use it for. Both these are discontinued models which are being sold off at greatly reduced prices
