New driver here!!!...help is required.

Ok Chaps......

Well I passed my driving test 2 weeks ago

I have bought a renault clio 1.2 16v on a 51 plate which is a great car.....

Now I'm very nervous driving it, I have stalled it a number of times, I find it difficult to find the biting point! is this a normal situation to be in ???

What were you like with your 1st car?

me fez took a bit of getting use to... i would say a couple of days and i practically had the biting point figured out... give it time

It does take a while to get used to a new car, more so when you've not been driving long so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Did you learn in a diesel by any chance?

Suppose it all depends on how many hours driving you have done before you passed your test. I didnt have any problems with my clutch after i passed my test.

Probably the clutch in your instructors car was a little more worn in than your Clios.

You will soon get use to it as we all have to when we change cars.
