New driver issue

Hey guys, I updated to the latest Nvidia driver 331.65 and since then a few of my games won't work on fullscreen. I have this issue with Grid 2, BF4 and another few. Ive tried forcing the resolutions through with Nvidia Geforce Experience utility, editing the resolutions on the config notepads and the control, alt, del way. Is anyone getting problems with this driver? I might just role back.

I did get that with Grid 2 on older drivers (can't remember what ones) and to solve it, I just held CTRL and hit enter. A simple fix but works.

That sux mate. I was hoping that little trick was all you needed :(

I have not seen anyone else with the issue, so have you tried a re-install with custom/clean install and possibly even driver sweeper if need be on the old drivers prior to a clean install.
 
Not tried a clean sweep as yet mate, but I know before I put on this latest driver things where fine. So I think I will start there and if I get no luck a clean sweep is what I will try. Cheers Greg. I will post back if I get to the bottom of this.
 
Nvidia driver issue's now that's a first :P

Joking aside have you tried doing a full driver removal?
The best method that I would say is "DDU Display Driver Uninstaller"
This will completely remove the driver and put your system back to how it was before you even installed a GPU driver.

No need to run in safe mode, just run the program and select recommend setting.

Try this!

Turn off Enable Peek (Windows 8) or Aero Peek in windows 7

I had to do that at my end :)
