Nintendo have denied any redesign but then again, they deny everything

TBH dunno about the DS, but I do hope the redesign it. I'm sure they will at some point, all their portable consoles have been redesigned at some point.

It's only been out for a year or so. I doubt there will be a redesign soon. Especially as it's been outselling the PSP in Japan (except last month when they ran out). Once sales begin to wane they'll bring out a sexified version.

Seems like they are following the same design path as the Revolution's controller. I quite like it, not sure whether to change it for my current DS though.

The problem is, it couldn't change style too much, you're very limited when you have the 2 screens used like they are, they also couldn't make any other real differences as it would stop compatability between the old and new one.

A tad disappointing after all the hype (

), and I'm not so sure I'll be definitely getting it now, but I wouldn't mind at least seeing it in person first. At the very least, they seem to have moved the buttons up every so slightly, which was one of my minor points abotu the current DS. If they've removed the stupid ridge round the side I might be tempted to get one.
