New England Shirt

I forked out for the white one for me and the Mrs so i cba to buy another
red one that looks near as damn it
 
Aren't these the ones that Asda started selling early at 1/2 price a couple of days ago. I know the FA were up-in-arms. It was in the newspaper yesterday.

It's ok, atleast it's not dodgy like the retro Holland or Brazil shirts. Those are just awful.
 
BONE IDLE.

Once again, it's completely lazy work on behalf of the designers.

The "new" kits are barely discernable from the previous ones - a white flash here, a number moved there - purely cash motivated and it really frustrates me.

It's no wonder people look at alternative national kits - Holland, Italy, France, Brazil - at least some thought has gone into them.

FA - ditch Umbro, and get into bed with Nike, so to speak.

Love the little single gold star above the badge, and it hasn't even tarnished despite being 40 Years old!
 
It's the England kit, it shouldn't be completely different, it should remain similar, every country does this :) (But yes I think they should ditch Umbro too).

England is all Umbro have left, they've completely ****ed up this launch by flooding the market with shirts thus completely devaluing the shirt. Should be noted that all these Supermarkets who are selling at £22 etc didn't get them officially from Umbro, came in via the grey market from Holland I believe.

Anyway, fantastic, you really have to wear one to fully apprieciate it though :)

Wonder what, if anything, is going to happen to all these companies who showed the shirt early and started selling early? The images were embargo'd untill this evening and you shouldn't have been allowed to buy until tomorrow :rolleyes:

Once these cheapo shirts go it will stable out nicely and only a few places will still have stock of the shirt as they've been given a MASSIVE allocation ;)
