Official announcement with some details for MSI Z87I Gaming AC mini-ITX motherboard and short graphics card.

Not sure on space between CPU socket and PCIe. And hopefully it undercuts the current competition charging £170+.

Cool, I hope others start making small graphics cards now. That and the bloody PSU size make it hard to have a real small system. Wait, how small is the GPU? A Asus GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini Graphics Card GTX670-DCMOC-2GD5 is 2.1 x 12 x 8.8 inches so 12 long 8.8 hight, how is that small?? Here is a small GPU EVGA GeForce GT 610 2048MB DDR3, DVI, Mini-HDMI, Graphics Card (02G-P3-2617-KR) 5.7 x 1 x 4.4 inches ; 6.4 ounces.

The motherboard is a good step if it performs as well as it looks but the idea of going to all the trouble of developing a cooler like that to put it on a GTX760 is just an absolute waste of time.

Why not actually offer a niche product like a GTX770 or R280X based around it? We had GTX760 performance in a small form factor months ago.

It may not be quite what you wanted..but it's definatley a step in the right direction.
I'm mulling over a SFF build, but don't want a power hungry and heat intensive card in the case.

Shame no bundle deals for motherboard and graphics at £300.

Don't think the graphics card is worth that much.

It would have been better for them to try and bring out a shorter 780

They already make GPUs for laptops, way less than for desktops. Still though, they could just change that design up a bit & they have a few.

No it isn't, the 670 mini is 17cm long. Just under 7".

The motherboard seems to be a solid upgrade for their Z87i board from looking at the reviews. Shame its not out yet, looks to be the only alternative to Asus reign over high end mini ITX motherboards.
