Highlights include:
As you can see, the Truly Ergonomic keyboard ditches the staggered key layout that's been around since the typewriter. The keys don't sit on a flat plane, either; they gain elevation to the left and right of center to better conform to the shape of one's hands. This novel layout is said to promote healthy posture and reduce wrist, shoulder, neck, and even lower back pain.

What makes the Truly Ergonomic keyboard particularly interesting is the fact that it's loaded with other features. Cherry MX mechanical switches are used throughout, and you can choose between brown, blue, and black variants based on your preference. There's a measure of programmability, too, and macro support is promised.

I tried a Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard

It was horrible, I kept hitting the bit in the middle with no keys, no one in the family liked using it.

Wow I can buy it brown, I'm sold on the idea.

For typing pools it might be a good idea, but to the average user I can not see it working.

I hope not

I need my right hand to access the arrow keys and the "six pack" of

insert, home, page-up
delete, end, page-down

microsoft's idiotic keyboard design means it is hard to get a proper keyboard now - any more designs will just cause suffering to hard-core touch-typing developer types like me

Just tried typing a few sentences on my keyboard to see if it would work for me.

Seems like it would be ok, however the I seem to type the letter 'B' with my right hand all the time so I would have to get used to that... would be pretty awkward at first.

I've been using nothing but ergonomic keyboards since the first one MS released and find it very difficult to use a straight keyboard these days. That looks worth a try but the price is a bit steep.
