Current spec is over 8 years old, powered by a Corsair TX750 PSU bought in 2011.
Asked some upgrade advice on here and have bought the following :
- Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE
- AMD RYZEN 7 3700X EIGHT CORE 4.4GHZ
- Gigabyte GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC
- Patriot Viper Steel 16GB (2x 8GB) 3600MHz DDR4 C17
- WD BLUE SN550 1TB NVME M.2
And got a couple of SSD and SATA drives as well, all neatly packed away in my dinosaur Thermaltake Overseer RX-I case, which i don't really want to replace as I can't find anything similar that i like (unless somebody can suggest something that looks similar, so loads of fans, including side window fan, and room for a blue ray player in the front).
Just need a new PSU that can handle all the above, and the plan is to buy a VR headset as well and play VR games, so it need to have a bit of oomph behind it. Any suggestions ?
