New fan issue

Hi all. I've bought a new Arctic Freezer i35 cpu cooler and fitted it, however when the computer boots up, the motherboard buzzer buzzes continuously and the fan doesn't operate. The computer works OK though! Strangely, if I connect the old cpu cooler to the fan connector the buzzer doesn't buzz, the computer just works as normal. Any ideas what could be the problem?

I'm going to assume you have plugged the arctic cooler fan in, it's spinning I take it....

The buzzer is likely going off because there is no fan being detected on the cpu fan header so is the arctic freezer i35 fan connected to the cpu fan header rather than another fan header

sound like CPU fan speed waring, there will be an option in bios to turn it off.
dose some temp testing just to be safe the cooler is working
