New Fans Question(s)

Hey all! It’s been a while since I have been on here hope you is all ok!

I have recently come into possession of 4 x AKASA Viper Fans. I have a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 MB and a Corsair water cooler all stored in a Corsair 800D.

I was thinking about adding one of the fans to the water cooler as I only have one on at the minute and putting the three others at the top on the grills.

I have a couple of questions about this:

1. What Fan controller would you all recommend? The VIPER blades are 3/4 pin ones so no sure what to look at? Do I need any converters?? I was looking at the Lamptron FC ones. I will be adding more fans possibly another 2 or three in the near future meaning a rough total of eight to control.

2. The rubber mounts that come with them, are they supposed to have the extra length or do you cut them once fan is mounted? Any videos on how to use them properly out there?

3. Anyone recommend any particular dust grill for these things?

4. If I didn’t want to use the rubber mounts, I can’t seem to find any mountings hat I could get from OC could anyone recommend some make/model etc.?

I basically cut them to length on, put them in place on the fan and then push the round top through the hole on the case.

Rubber fans are great. Are you looking for the metal screws or just other rubber mounts?
