Hello, just finished my first ever build and with a few hiccups it's mostly going fine, had a couple issues initially and they were basically me not reading the motherboard manual properly. After fixing those it all turns on great, software all going fine, I decided to use the msi kombustor to test the gpu temps after the cpu was fine. First time it's going great, fans running it's only getting to like 76 degrees Celsius. So after a couple of hours doing the normal bits I downloaded the msi afterburner, and now unless the program is open the cards fan won't turn on at all, it's not an issue to have it open but I do feel paranoid about it whenever I'm doing anything else. The other issue is I'm not sure there's enough airflow, it's only got the 2 120mm fans on the h100i radiator and the 230mm on the front and the room it's in isn't particularly cool, it's a warmish space. Any advice on either issue?

Thanks in advance

Does the fan actually not run? Or is it just spinning so slowly you can't hear?

If you play a game or do some other graphic intensive activity does it spin up?

It could just be that the default setting on the card runs the fan slowly up until it's required, while MSI has set a 100% fan profile.

It actually doesn't run at all without the software open

I've tried on fallout 4 on all ultra settings and not spinning

On the software I've set my own fan profile which works okay but without it, it's doesn't want to do anything
