New flat New build

DDR4 ram isn't supported by the 3570k & by that I can guess your current motherboard wouldn't fit it either.

As for your questions; I picked the 6700k because it was more than enough in your budget, 6600k would be fine though. The ram, 32gb would be overkill and the hyperx is a bit cheaper and just as good imo.

Gotcha, my current mobo is Z77 -3dh and currently have 8 gig XMS3(dirt cheap)

So I guess I can stick with that and do the cheaper upgrade and if I decide at a later date I can upgrade the mobo, cpu and memory whenever

Yeah when you decide you want a new cpu then you'd need to upgrade the motherboard and ram too. Don't get me wrong, the cpu you have now should easily last until Kabylake but yeah, you'd have to upgrade everything when you upgrade the cpu.

What colour scheme are you aiming for ? as you have a bit of a mix and match of colours going on there. Not sure you need all those extra fans either.

I would be aiming for an i7 especially if you are planning SLI in the future.

Green, and I probably won't SLI as NVIDIA is shunting support for it but if there is any other benefit it's within budget to change to the i7

You can still do SLI with 2 GPU's.

Phanteks Enthoo Luxe has exterior LED lighting with 10 different colours. The PSU and all the HDD/SSD bays are hidden for a cleaner look. The extra LED strip is for the inside.

Green/Black braided cables for the EVGA PSU.

It's not green though. Just the fans. You deffo need a green mobo if you want it to look like a green colour scheme. I've tried doing a blue colour scheme using just the fans and braided cables before and it looked like crap. The mobo above would be spot on.

Ah thank you for the recommendations, all make sense, though I really have my heart set on the 750D for some reason! Will look up reviews on the Luxe though.

I was looking to put 4 fans on the h100 rad(2 either side) above the mobo on the 750D

Yes mate, totally makes sense, thank you!

The 750D is a nice case if you prefer that one.

I wouldn't bother with push/pull for the cooler. You won't see much difference in temps and it just means more dust to clean off.

The 750D can take a 280mm AIO in the roof, so the H110i GTX or NZXT X61 etc will all fit.

I would look at something like the Phanteks Fan below for the radiator as they are PWM. The H110i GTX uses PWM fans.

There is also a 120mm version if you decide you want to stick with a 240mm AIO such as the H100i.

Then for interior lighting just go with LED strips or the NZXT Hue if you want RGB.

They come in Black/White as well.

Thanks a lot for your help Lee. On the 750D I like the fact that people will be able to see my multiple SSD's :D

So I changed a lot after your guidance and reading reviews on here, I've changed mobo as the Gaming 7 looked to good not to and I wanted better than mid-low tier. So it will be the typical Red and Black Theme now. I'm not too fussed on PWM fans as I will have a fan controller in the front but am torn between getting Red or Black fans for the theme...

If you order something out of stock on here, will it just get sent out when they have it in? Or do they order each time something is bought for such items?

The i7 and Z170X-Gaming 7 can be bought as a bundle.

Also the Phanteks LED strip is only compatible with some of the Phanteks cases.

If you can stretch another £27 then everything below is showing in stock. I swapped out the PSU to the Corsair RMx as the cable set for that is in stock. It is on par with the EVGA G2 and you get the same length warranty of 10 years.

The NZXT Hue is pretty expensive, but if you want RGB LED then it is a good option. It fits into an SSD bay.
