Just about to order the following for a Flight Sim Gaming rig - your thoughts would be appreciated:

  • Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE
  • Intel 3770k
  • Corsair CMD16GX3M2A1866C9 - 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 Dominator Platinum, PC3-14900 (1866), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-10-9-27, DHX, XMP, 1.5V
  • Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System
  • Silverstone FT03B-Mini
  • Silverstone Tech. SST-ST45SF-G
  • Plextor M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB SSD
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB w/Backplate 04G-P4-3673-KR
Cheers

Thanks guys

I've already got the case - so its only mini-itx which also restricts the max ram to 16GB

FSX prefers nvidia cards to AMD and going to be running 3 x 24" Dell UltraSharp U2412M (1920 x 1200).

Plextor M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB SSD should give Samsung 840 Pro a run for its money (£35 less).

Only thing I need to nail is 8 or 16GB RAM and what spec it should be.

Thanks again

Ok - going with the following:

  • Asus P8Z77-I DELUXE
  • Intel 3770k
  • Crucial PC3-14900 1866MHz Ballistix Elite CL9 DDR3 16GB kit BLE2CP8G3D1869DE1TX0CEU
  • Antec Kuhler H2O 620 Liquid Cooling System
  • Silverstone FT03B-Mini
  • Silverstone Tech. SST-ST45SF-G
  • 2 x Plextor M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB SSD - one boot, one FSX drive
  • EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB w/Backplate 04G-P4-3673-KR

Hopefully goes together well!
