New folder, machine id settings?

I've never played around with folding, but seeing as I'm bored I've been reading through this forum for the first time in 3 years and thought I'd join the fun. Read the guide and have a question.....

Machine ID ( 1-8 ) 1

I assume if I have my laptop and desktop running this one of the machines should be set to 2?

Yeah that's how I would imagin it works. Both my machines being single core, it works out the same either way
