Im new to this Folding lark and was wondering what the significance of the credits are for
the other querie i have is im running 2 clinets as i have a dual core cpu one via dos box and the other via windows system tray so therfor my cpu is running 100% at all times and i run my pc 24/7
i have noticed that my cpu temps are anywhere between 50oc to 55oc temps taken from core temp.
is this safe on my current cpu AMD X2 4400+ (939) toledo

50-55 is fine on an overclocked X2 on 100% load. You might be able to get the temps down a touch with a better cooler and better airflow through the case, but it's nothing to worry about as it is.

Currently have a Zalman CNPS 9500NT on cpu and am using a Lian-Li A20 case so air flow should be good
However i do think i may need to re apply TIM
got some of this to try TIM-Consultants T-C 0098 Thermal Paste
fans problby need a good clean as well.
Now if i uninstall the Graphical client wont i lose all the work it has done so far

Personally I wouldn't bother, as long as you've not got the graphical window open and you don't mind staying signed in to the PC the system tray client will give the same performance as the console client anyway since they use exactly the same cores as each other.

Besides which before long you'll be asking about replacing the standard clients with the SMP client for even more points :o :p

Welcome to the team :)

I take it the smp clients work better ie they make better use of my spare cpu time than the standard clients

it was overclocked to 2.5Ghz but had to remove it due to stability problems
random freezing yet when i set it up it ran orthos for more than 12 hopurs without any errors. I think the board is at fault lost my vista install after using the uptodate nforce drivers.
So now its running back at stock speed's 2.2Ghz ive just not got round to updating my sig yet
