New fps for my dad

I need some reccomendations for some fps games for my dad please folks. He's played his way through COD, COD:UO and COD2 numerous times and is getting bored. I'll be reinstalling Far Cry for him to try out but I'm not sure if he'll like it or not so was wondering what else there is like the above that I can get for him.

We've got RTCW and neither of us like it that much. I might let him have a go on BF2 but I'm still not sure, completely forgot about HL and HL2, gonna have to reinstall those aswell.

I take it with GT Legends you are better off with a steering wheel or will a mouse and keyboard be okay?
