New Freezer = Hardly any temp drop

Well ive changed the option in the BIOS and its on full speed all the time now and its still only dropped to 45 degrees :confused:

Did you use the standard TIM pad? It takes ages to cure because it's so thick. Let it settle. What sort of a temperature drop were you expecting?

Something sounds wrong if the temperatures don't go up under load. Are you sure it's seated properly?

Yeah its deffo on correctly i took it off and put it back on to make sure.

Temps have dropped 10 degrees from the stock cooler. Im using the stuff that came pre applied to the heatsink. I still thinbk its way to hot tho. This is even at stock on stock volts

Well, if it's dropped 10C from the stock cooler, that's probably about as much as you could expect. Sounds like you're got a toasty chip, that's all.
