Been looking at new front doors. But often the colour choice seems limited.

Are there any suppliers where you can basically pick any colour? Or at least an expanded set from the norm?

Found style I want in several places but struggling with colour.

You could always paint it yourself. Then just buy the cheapest one in the style you like. That is of course if you can find the paint in the colour you want too.

I can just imagine it looking **** or end up flaking off.

There are some fantastic multisurface paints around so I wouldn't worry about that if the preparation is correct. I have the same dilemma myself, having ordered a new door in green. If it doesn't look right I've no qualms in painting it. :)

Local independent window & door places generally can match any colour as they aren't buying in bulk from suppliers, be your best bet reaching out to some to see if they will.

Is £1600 fitted a reasonable price? Seems steep. Maybe I should persevere with refurbing my wooden one...

We just had a quote this week for a new composite front door and they came back at £1285 fitted.

This was the make/style we choose - Clifton no idea if its a good door or not! my knowledge of doors doesn't go much further than how to open and close them

OK, solidor have the one I want
I bet it will be expensive!

Thanks guys. Wouldn't have found this site

Looks. Super expensive though

I'm not 100 percent sure on the colour yet.
Either this strong teal blue or duck egg.

this is the house from street view . Which is why I'm not sure if that colour is too strong. (but I like it!)

Thats a Gleeson build from the look of it, I was trying to get one of their 2 bedrooms at first but couldn't find any on shared ownership, I really liked their brick patterning a lot.

I had my front door replaced by Evander under new build warranty as the original frame had come apart and was unfixable, but if I wanted a different colour it would have been an extra £200 or so for betterment, so had to take the standard black brown the house had come with. Looking at it all now I have an obsession with 'french grey', but didn't know about that colour when I got my front door, I was considering 'chartwell green' which is similar but on the blue - green scale (like a more green turqoise). Evander offer a lot of colour options from what I saw.
