New G.fast Modem

I have a new modem a Sagemcom F@st 4370, coming from a Huawei MT992 with a Gfast connection. Tested the internet down
speed, where in the past I was getting 280mbps i'm now getting 190mbps.

Do I have to wait until the DLM adjusts to the new Modem?

Router i'm using is a Tplink AX11000, and my ISP is talktalk.

Thank you for both for your advice, I didn't realise all of this, something to note for the future.
I had to return the Mt992 as I would have been charged so I'm really hoping it is just the DLM, and not something else.
I did try the Mt992 before I sent it back and the speed did go down to 190mbps as well right after trying the 4370. When the day before it was 280mbps.

How do I check the line sync?? On the ax11000 or the modem?

I' ve had g.fast for several years and the speeds have varied between 280-300mbps.

Tried to access the modem using 'fing' and other means to find the IP address for it, no joy.
