Has anyone tried these? I am thinking about picking up a new mouse and can either get the old G502 or the new one. The new one is of course more expensive.

I had the old version and upgraded to the new one, the buttons feel more sold great mouse.
I'll try one then!

You won't regret it mate, I had to upgrade as it came out in white to match my logitech g915 tkl.

I've got the old one and it's great as a back up one. I'm still on the g700 as a main

Just ordered an X Plus, this will be my third G502.. too good not to grab one.

If you can live without rgb on the mouse the battery can last up to a month easy.

Is this better than the Hero version? Have the original G502 but it's starting to show its age (had to replace the pads earlier this year), had a look at the Hero but saw it wasn't as well built. But seems this new version is now fine to go for?

Which one would you recommend? Hero, Lightspeed or 502x lightspeed?

I got the Hero. I use it mostly with the Linux Laptop. I really dont know why cos I have always found the Logitech Mice and Keyboards to be my favourite.
But yeah, the G502 Hero is a great mouse. I cannot fault it.

yeah, they are bigger, the G403 /G703 are very very good mice. i love the profile of them, and the optional weights (I like heavy mice).

looking for a new mouse myself, whats the difference between the g502 x lightspeed and the g502 x plus ? this will be my first gaming mouse, logitech best brand ?
