How is the G502X Plus / G915 TKL combo treating you? Worth the money?Bought one in white, sold my old g502 wireless,so glad it came out as it will match my g915 tkl
The x has no weights inc with it and it lighter, the new one has different switches.
OK, guess the only way to find out if I like it is to buy one so that's what I'll do
My old G502 lightspeed right mouse button gave up on me last week so I replaced it with the X plus.
I must say the left and right mouse buttons' optical/mechanical switches are a revelation compared to the old switches. The switches have a much more positive feel to them and I much prefer them although how they age only time will tell.
The RGB lighting, while unneccssary, is really good looking. I also appreciate the mouse being lighter, I never used the weights in any previous model.
No braiding on the charging cable seems a quality step backwards, but it's not going to snag like a braided cable.
Best gaming mouse I've tried from Logitech, but very expensive.
Keep your rgb off and the mouse will last weeks without a charge.
I avoid in game profiles with the GHUB software TBH.So just trying out the G502 X Pro and unless I'm missing something, the software (G Hub) is terrible!
Say I have about 20 games installed, it manages to find about 6 from the scan. The others I have to add manually for profiles, however some games have an exe named "launchgame.exe" as an example.
That means my profile for that game is name launchgame.... I can't find anyway to change the name. Is there a way or are you stuck with stupid descriptions and possibly multiple named similar?
Also, is it possible to assign a button number to say G8, G7 which are default to DPI or do you have to assign a letter/number? and left/right on scroll wheel, although it allows you to assign a letter to it, that is not registered in a game?
Thanks
