The Meta page for it just says :it should tell you if its cross buy
from the gameplay vids i've seen the game does like it's a proper premium pcvr release i.e. good graphics etc. that 311mb install won't be the install obviously but yeah why is it showing that? S&S1 is about 31gb in size so lets see what 2 is.The original game was one of the first premium dedicated VR releases. It'll be a total shame if they flush that legacy down the toilet, with a half baked mobile game. I'm hopeful that if they're pushing for a PSVR2 release, there's a credible standard they're going to attain to.
As a fan of the first game, it's a depressing look when you see an install of 310mb. The required space is conspicuous by it's absence on the steam page![]()
The Q2 native version will be more than that, even poor apps/experiences are usually more than that. S&S1 Quest version is 7.3GB.310Mb ?
maybe the Quest 2 only one, but certainly not PCVR
I agree! that uploadvr page is where i got my info from but apparently some very recent youtuber gameplay vids (beardo benjo etc) say it's feb 2023 for pcvrhmm, not sure about this
but steam still says Late 2022
just checked the store page it's 15.1GB. this standalone version looks about the same as S&S1 Q2 standalone graphics wise, i bet it's still got the core gameplay so is fun but nothing fancy to look at. the pcvr version looks the 1 to have and that's what i'm waiting for although i will buy the quest 2 version today if it's cross buy.
That 311mb looks like it might be on the money.
God awful, it genuinely looks like a 20 years old average PS2 game. There's no way they can release this to the PC market, no wonder they kept it under a shroud until release.
i checked the meta store page for the game about 10 mins ago and it was listing a size for it, seems to have been removed now, strange. anyway it won't be 311MB. yeh i'm not buying it until it's crossbuy or pcvr version, standalone looks poor graphics wise although it'll be nice to have the option to play it standalone if i can't access my pc.its not quite out yet, but remember, the rift version wont be out yet, so cross buy may not work
i.e. you may have to wait until the rift version comes out

I tried it, it's more of the same basically. I struggle with 2 handed weapons like the axe, i try to kill zombies with it but the axe 9/10 just bounces off the zombies head or something, what am i doing wrong? Anyway I won't play through it too much, wanna wait for pcvr version.Enjoyed the first one on Quest but personally I’m gonna wait for the PSVR 2 release before playing the second part.
Would be interested to hear folks thoughts on the game though.
i did google it just after, found similar to what you say, apparently i need to make bigger swings/movements/swoops whereas i was just trying to go fast.Swing is further and harder
maybeYou are too weak![]()
HDR and OLED for proper blacks I suppose. Although the PCVR version will benefit from supersampling, and maybe future mods?Apparently the graphics on the ps5/psvr2 version is massively better than the pc version
Why is that
