Hi Everyone new to the forum.

Can anyone give me any advice on a good game to get into on the pc, i like the look of WoW but is that dead nowadays?

Any other suggestions I like the thought of levelling up etc. Played BF4 in the past.

:D

If you like city builder type games there is Banished.

A fun little indie game called Nation Red. Does have a somewhat miniscule leveling up system that only stays for that round of waves you play but the perk rewards are worth it.

Mighty Quest For Epic Loot is open beta atm, has levelling , upgrades, player built castles etc is definitely worth trying.

Cheers for the ideas.

Banished looks good without the complex menus and windows.

Skyrim looks cool.

Wildstar's ment to be the new kid on the block coming soon hmmm interesting.

:p

WoW will be worth getting into as by the time you've got yourself sunk in the new expansion will roll around to make it all new and shiney again.

Are you after single player or multiplayer recommendations?

Bastion is a great game, even better if you pick it up in the Steam Summer Sale

Can't believe I'm suggesting this but Diablo 3, it's a whole different ballgame since the loot 2.0 patch, it's pretty amazing, may even live up to its predecessor with Reaper of Souls.

Path of Exile

diablo 3 but free and better(?) On steam. New league starts tonight. 10pm CET

Yeah PoE is phenomenal and better than D3 in a lot of ways, but D3 has better combat and loot IMO, not by a huge amount but it is better. Graphics are better in some instances, about 50/50 to either tbh. PoE is obviously about 1900% cheaper (:p) but I and a lot of people I know have very weird sync issues with it where you attack something and hear/see the effect a second later. I wouldn't say it's enough to get you killed etc. if you experience it but it does detract from the experience massively.

If money is no object, D3 wins imo. That's something I'd never thought myself saying this time last week.
